Dolce&Gabbana Commercial - Models in Rome

Dolce&Gabbana has launched its Fall/Winter 2018 campaign, featuring a host of models in the streets of Italy’s capital.

Shot in Rome by Morelli Brothers, the campaign film also gives viewers a glimpse to some of the city’s landmarks including the Colloseum, where a drone is seen holding up in the air a handbag, the famous Spanish Steps and the Trinità dei Monti church at the top, the Piazza di Spagna square and more. The models are rocking colorful outfits with all-over prints and oversized accessories, pieces featuring statement prints, like Fashion Sinner and Fashion Devotion, and more. A short-sleeved orange T-shirt with crew neck and “Santa Moda” print on the chest, denim jackets embelisshed with golden fringes and beads, long animal print dresses, shirts and skirts embelished with a variety of details are among the pieces showcased throughout the campaign film.

The materials used for the Fall/Winter 2018 collection by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana include denim, cotton, wool, velvet, fur, brocade, as well as sequins, feathers, satin, rhinestones, and crystals. Masculine coats and tailored suits are also part of the collection, which also includes church-inspired designs. The accessories line-up comprises rhinestone jewels and tiaras, sneakers and jewelled sandals and small hand bags.

Among the models who posed in front of Morelli Brothers for D&G’s Fall/Winter 2018 campaign are Chiara Scelsi, Aira Ferreira, Cameron Dallas, Samile Bermannelli, Sija Titko, Christian Combs, Hyun Ji Shin, Rafferty Law, and Paris Brosnan.

The Italian luxury brand took audience by surprise at the beginning of the year, in the opening of its Fall-Winter 2018/19 Fashion Show in Milan, when several drones carrying handbags glided down the catwalk.
