Walgreens highlights the importance of protecting your skin and keeping it healthy in a new commercial, that advertises its limited-time “Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off” offer on sun care products.
“You got it from your parents and they got it from theirs. It’s your skin and it can protect you from millions of things. So we’re here to help you protect your skin,” the voiceover says on the 30-second spot, adding that “Walgreens pharmacists and beauty consultants are specially trained to know what works for the health of your unique skin.” On screen, three generations are seen and the line “Trusted since your skin got the attention it deserves” appears at the end of the spot, before the voiceover adds the tagline “Trusted since 1901” and informs that now all sun care products are “Buy 1 Get 1 50% off”.
The offer is valid in stores and online from July 29 through August 9, 2018 with card and implies getting the product of equal or lesser price 50% off.
The soundtrack music is a cover of Ben E. King’s 1961 song “Stand by Me”.
