CBS All Access 2018 Series: Tell Me a Story (Trailer Song)

Actress Dania Ramirez - Tell Me a Story (Trailer CBS)

CBS All Access has released the trailer for its upcoming thriller series Tell Me a Story, from Kevin Williamson, the writer of Scream, The Vampire Diaries and The Following.

Described by CBS as “an epic and subversive tale of love, loss, greed, revenge and murder,” the show reimagines classic fairy tales as dark, modern-day thrillers, set in present-day New York City. The Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood and Hansel and Gretel are among the tales weaved together in season 1.

The cast ensemble includes Paul Wesley, Billy Magnussen, Danielle Campbell, Dania Ramirez, Dorian Missick, Davi Santos, James Wolk, Sam Jaeger, Zabryna Guevara, Michael Raymond-James, and Kim Cattrall.

“I want to get married, have a family, but the world is no place for that anymore”, Wolk’s character says at the beginning of the trailer, which sees crowds protesting. Three men wearing pig masks are also featured robbing a bank and Cattrall’s character is seen trying to hand to her daughter a red raincoat.

The song used in the trailer is “Welcome to the Jungle” feat. Fleurie. Written by Lauren Strahm and Tommee Profitt and produced by Dove Award Winning Producer/Composer/Songwriter Tommee Profitt, the track, included on the album Cinematic Songs, Vol. 4 (released on July 4, 2018), was also featured on “Queen of the South” Season 3 Promo.
Tell Me a Story will launch on Halloween – Wednesday, Octover 31. New episodes of the 10-episode first season will be available on demand weekly each Thursday, exclusively for CBS All Access subscribers.
