Audi has released a new ad in the UK, aimed at highlighting that the world can be a stressful place, buy Audi Technology is designed to help you escape it.
Titled “Escape,” the TV spot, which promotes the luxurious interiors of the brand’s A6, A7 and A8 models, recently launched, features a fight between two rival gangs. The protagonist manages to escape the clutches of a henchman and, once arrived in a parking lot, hides in the back seat of an Audi A8. There, he is delighted to find an interior boasting modern technology, a touchscreen, foot massage and even a glass of champagne, while in the background Commodores’ 1977 single “Easy” (from the band’s fifth album, “Commodores”) is playing.
Created by Bartle Bogle Hegarty London, the ad, whose martial-arts fighting sequences were shot in Bangkok, was directed by Matthijs Van Heijningen and coordinated by James Bond-veteran Seng Kawee.
The advert debuted today, 16 August,and is also set to be screened in cinemas and on VOD platforms.
According to Benjamin Braun, Audi UK’s marketing director, in the next few months there will be other two new TV campaigns.
