Nissan has launched a new commercial to introduce the first-ever Nissan Kicks, now starting at $17,990.
The 30-second ad opens with a young man in an empty parking lot, sitting on a chair and then, with Bose Personal Plus headphones on, building the Nissan Kicks around him. The chair becomes the driver’s seat and, after putting together pieces of the car, from the steering wheel to the dashboard, the touchscreen, the other seats, the windshield, the roof, he drives away.
The soundtrack music is the 2016 song “It’s Strange” by Louis The Child featuring K. Flay, included on the FIFA 16 Soundtrack.
The all-new 2018 Nissan Kicks subcompact crossover, described as big on attitude and self expression,” went on sale this spring. The model shown in the ad is the 2018 Kicks S with Premium Package and additional Color Studio accessories, which is priced at $22,405.
