Mercedes-Benz highlights, in a new ad running in the UK, that, given the wide range of models available, it’s easy to find the right Approved Used car for you.
The 30-second spot features a woman going on blind dates and having the surprise to find out that the men she’s meeting haven’t been quite honest in talking about themselves online. One of them, who presented himself as a 34-year-old guy, proves to be twenty years older, another one has an obsession with cleaning his hands, another one is taking a phone call from his “mommy” and another one is trying to impress her with a magic spoon trick. Eventually, she decides to find her perfect match at a Mercedes-Benz dealership.
“Find your perfect match,” the voiceover says at the end of the advert, mentioning that you can get Approved Used E-Class from £249 per month. The soundtrack music is the 2009 hit single “Bulletproof” by the English synthpop duo La Roux, from their eponymous debut album.
The ad also informs that the offer is based on E220d SE Saloon models over 180 days old with an average selling price £27,153. The 48 month Personal Operating Lease implies a £5,767 advance, besides the monthly rate of £249.
