Woolworths showcases a selection of winter woolies in its latest TV ad, aimed at highlighting that you will find standout pieces of winter fashion at Woolworths.
The spot features a variety of persons enjoying winter days while wearing their comfortable woolies. Knits, chunkier, oversized options, eye-catching statement pieces in bold colors, with various detailing, such as embellishments and textures, scarves, snoods, hats and gloves are shown throughout the ad. They are available, alongside many other pieces, including trenchcoats in different styles, from a straight-cut single-breasted style to a-line options, which flare out at the bottom, at the grocery store chain.
The commercial, scored by the 1965 hit song “Woolly Bully” by Sam The Sham & Pharaohs, ends with two kids throwing themselves on a bed where the text “Everyone loves their winter woolies” lies and with a woman saying “That’s why I pick woolies”.
