Entertainment Access has released the official trailer for the upcoming animation movie How to Train Your Dragon 3: The Hidden World.

The new installment in the epic trilogy from Dreamworks, directed by Dean DeBlois, who has also served as a screenwriter based on Cressida Cowell’s “How to Train Your Dragon” book series, follows Hiccup and Toothless, the Viking teenager and the fearsome Night Fury dragon that have formed un unlikely friendship, as they “finally discover their true destinies” – according to the official synopsis: the village chief as ruler of Berk alongside Astrid and the dragon as leader of his own kind. “As both ascend, the darkest threat they’ve yet faced – as well as the appearance of a female Night Fury – will test the bonds of their relationship like never before”.

The cast includes Jay Baruchel, who returns to give voice to Hiccup, America Ferrera as Astrid, Djimon Hounsou, T.J. Miller, Cate Blanchett, Kristen Wiig, Kit Harington, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Craig Ferguson, and others.

The trailer focuses on Toothless meeting a female of his species for the first time and acting like a goober around her. However, a major threat appears in the form of a dragon hunter who’s on a mission to take out Night Fury because he’s the only one of his kind.

The song used in the trailer is Ed Sheeran’s 2017 single “Castle on the Hill”, from his third studio album, “Divide”.

The first two films How to Train Your Dragon and How to Train Your Dragon 2 were released in 2010 and 2014, respectively. How To Train Your Dragon 3 comes out March 1, 2019.
