Thomas Cook Advert Song – Couple Looking Like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Thomas Cook TV Advert - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Thomas Cook promotes its adult-only hotel in Majorca, Sunprime Monsuau, as “the perfect honeymoon hideout” in a new advert, starring a young couple who look like Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle.

The spot opens with the two lovers arriving at the hotel holding hands to the surprise of the receptionist, who can’t help but smile noticing their striking resemblance to the royal couple. They enjoy their stay by having drinks on the terrace and admiring the view, fooling around in the room, which is complete with a comfortable bed and lots of pillows, and sunbathing by the pool, with the woman reading a book about the history of Windsors. Finally, when the dopplegangers of the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex are back in the room and she calls his name (which is Harry, as read on her lips), he pulls the curtains and locks the door, not before putting on the outside door handle a Thomas Cook sign that reads “Don’t just book it, Thomas Cook it”.

The soundtrack is “Music for the Royal Fireworks [BourrĂ©e]” composed by George Frideric Handel.

“Surrounded by breath-taking views with a beautiful beach cove close by, Sunprime Monsuau is the picturesque spot fit for a king and his queen,” the British global travel company says of the hotel, which is also described as “the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing holiday, complete with an amazing sky rooftop bar, lots of fitness activities and delicious food”.

Prince Harry, the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II, married American actress Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle yesterday, Saturday, 19 May.

At their wedding participated, besides the entire royal family and English aristocrats, several celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams, Elton John, George Clooney and his wife, Amal, the Beckhams, and others.

Meghan Markle’s wedding dress was by Clare Waight Keller, a British woman and the first female designer of Givenchy. The five-meter veil she wore was of silk tulle, with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers in silk threads and organza.
