Macy’s continues its “Find the Remarkable You” campaign with a new commercial, encouraging women to discover fashion summer.
Titled “Spotlight”, the 60-second film features several women who find themselves dressed in comfortable summer clothes as the sun shines a light on them. Trench coats, jackets, jeans and boots all vanish to make room to Macy’s summer fashion, which includes short sleeve floral dresses, off the shoulder dresses, denim shorts, graphic tees, and more, and makes all girls and women feel inspired and empowered, regardless of their size or shape.
Serving as the perfect soundtrack is the 1967 hit single “Oogum Boogum Song” by American singer and songwriter Brenton Wood.
The “Find the Remarkable You” campaign was launched in March with a spot created by Macy’s agency, BBDO New York, which followed six different women who embark on a chase through the city after their alternate selves, while in the background and orchestral score of the 1970s hit song “One Way or Another” is playing.
The campaign also includes Macy’s Instagram activations #FINDREMARKABLE and Live hack aimed at helping customers put together amazing outfits with their favorite influencers and Macy’s stylists.
