HERSHEY’S Hearts and Kisses Commercial Song

HERSHEY'S Hearts Commercial

HERSHEY’S urges people to “Say it with a KISS” in its Hearts and Kisses film, released on Mother’s Day to celebrate motherhood and the bond between a mother and her daughter.

The ad, scored by the song “Gassenhauer” by Carl Orff, features a young girl as she learns a new gesture, alongside the handmade heart, which has always been a symbol of love and affection, to help show her love for her mom. She does the KISS, which is the “match” of the handmade heart since it is a handmade heart turned upside down.

Hershey’s Kisses brand chocolates (“kisses”), which are pieces of chocolate shaped like very large chocolate chips, are available in several varieties, from Milk Chocolate to Hugs, Air Delight, Pumpkin Spice, Special Dark, and more.

Launched in 2016, the “Say it with a KISS” campaign was aimed at celebrating “both life’s big and small special moments.” According to the brand, this campaign contributed “to a significant increase in overall sales growth vs. the same time period previous year,” with “an incredible sales jump from May to August 2016, increasing 7%”.
