Chase promotes its QuickPay with Zelle product in a new ad, starring this time jockey Victor Espinoza and his horse.
“Legendary jockey Victor Espinoza is insatiable when it comes to competing. So is his horse,” the voiceover says on the 30-second spot, titled “Victor’s Way,” which features Espinoza celebrating a victory in the winner’s circle and his horse celebrating his own way by indulging himself with a surprising snack: the flowers on the top of a woman’s hat. Using the QuickPay with Zelle within the Chase Mobile App, Espinoza sends money in just a few moments to quickly make things right with the lady whose elegant accessory had been damaged.
The soundtrack music is “Simply Iressistible” by English rock singer Robert Palmer, from his 1988 studio album, “Heavy Nova”.
This is not the first spot promoting the QuickPay with Zelle feature. At the beginning of this year, during the Grammy Awards in January, the bank launched a commercial starring ballet dancer Michaela DePrince, which saw her using QuickPay to make a payment, while performing the “grandest” grand jeté.
In 2017, QuickPay with Zelle was showcased in a commercial featuring Serena Williams and Stephen Curry playing ping-pong in a waiting room and making damages for which they immediately paid using Chase Mobile App.
This new ad campaign, created in partnership with Droga5 and VaynerMedia, also runs on social media, with a series of 20 GIFs illustrating various situations people would need to pay their friends or families.
