Budweiser showcases, in its latest commercial, the Budweiser Freedom Reserve, a limited edition red lager brewed by its own veterans in support of veteran families.
The 30-second spot, set to the rhythms of the 2010 single “Stomp” by San Francisco-based rock and roll band The Stone Foxes, is introducing the Budweiser Freedom Reserve, which is “proudly brewed in support of veterans by Budweiser’s own veterans”, inspired by George Washington’s recipe, with toasted barley grains with a touch of hops, a rich caramel malt taste, and a smooth finish with a hint of molasses.
On its website, the beer brand informs that “John Williams, Bobby Walker and David Morris are proud veteran brewers whose signatures are on the Freedom Reserve bottle.” “Budweiser and Anheuser-Busch proudly employs over 1,600 veterans across America.” another onscreen line reveals.
Budweiser also informs that, for every 24 pack case of Freedom Reserve purchased, it will donate $1 to Folds of Honor, a non-profit organization that gives scholarships to families of fallen or wounded soldiers, up to $0.5 million, from May 1 through September 30, 2018.
Since 2011, the total amount of donations by Anheuser-Busch to Folds of Honor reached $14 million.
