Night School (2018 Kevin Hart Movie) – Trailer Song

Kevin Hart - Night School (2018 Movie Trailer)

Universal Pictures has released a first trailer for the upcoming film starring Kevin Hart, titled Night School.

Directed by Malcolm D. Lee (director of Girls Trip), the movie revolves around a Hart’s character, who is forced to attend adult classes in the longshot chance he will pass the GED exam to finish high school. The cast also includes Tiffany Haddish, Rob Riggle, Taran Killam, Romany Malco, Mary Lynn Rajskub, and Yvonne Orji.

The trailer opens with Hart working as a successful salesman at a grill store and asking his girlfriend, Lisa, to marry him. Unfortunately for him, the night doesn’t end well because the store – the place he chose to propose – burns down because of an accident and he loses his job.

After several attempts of finding another job, he decides to attend night classes and try to get his GED. This marks the beginning of a new chapter in his life, which he is ready to easily give up, apparently. His teacher, though, played by Tiffany Haddish, doesn’t seem to be willing to let him. Seeing him dressed in a chicken costume, promoting a fast-food, she slaps his butt, asking him to take that exam. Taran Killam is also featured as the principal of the high-school Hart studies at, with a tendency to use a “black voice” and then deny that he’s done so, as well as Ben Schwartz, who plays an investment adviser and Hart’s friend, who cannot give him a job until he passes his GED.

The song used in the trailer is “Commas (OG-Mix)” by G-LEW.

Night School is scheduled to hit theaters this fall, on September 28.
