Boots UK promotes the No7 Age-Defying Serums and its 3-for-2 deal in a new advert, starring 49-year-old surfer Lisa Andersen. She proves she is “Ready for Today & Tomorrow” thanks to the No7 Age-Defying Serums, which are, according to the described as “the new non-invasive wrinkle solution”.
The four-time world surfing champion is seen, in the ad, climbing a frozen wave and riding it. “I face many challenges every day. The age is not one of them,” Andersen is heard saying before the voiceover adds the tagline “Your skin is ready for today and tomorrow”. The soundtrack music is “A Little While” by Seil Lie.
The range of No7 Age-Defying Serums, now including the new No7 Laboratoires Line Correcting Booster Serum, which is “formulated with 7x the concentration of Matrixyl 3000 Plus” than other clinically proven serums from this line-up and “clinically proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by up to 5 years”, is shown. Tested on 98 women in a consumer study over 8 weeks, the new Line Correcting Booster Serum, was praised for its result, participants saying “it was the best result they had ever seen from an age-defying product.” Andersen posed in front of photographer Antonia Steyn for a spot dedicated to this Booster Serum, aimed at highlighting that, with it, you can have skin confidence, even close. Beauty experts Nadine Baggott, Emma Gunavardhana and Caroline Issa also star in a New No7 Laboratories LINE CORRECTING Booster Serum video, talking about their wrinkles and the stories they tell.
The 3-for-2 offer on No7 skincare, available in most Boots stores, ends 5th June. The new No.7 Laboratories Line Correcting Booster Serum launches in Boots stores across the UK today, Wednesday, April 11.
Andersen, an icon of women’s surfing, launched, in 2017, her own collection, inspired by pieces she wore in the ’90s, with the surf & snowboard brand Roxy.
She is not the first athlete to promote the No7 products. Olympic fencer Monica Aksamit stars in a campaign for No7 MakeUp, titled “Ready for Anything”. Last year, 50-year-old stuntwoman Amanda Foster performed one of her biggest stunts in a No7 Age-Defying Serums ad.
