Walmart has released a new commercial, introducing the all-new apparel brands that will be available from now on nationwide at Walmart, in store and online, namely Time and Tru for women, Wonder Nation for kids, and George, which was existing, but is reconfigured to sell only items for men.
The ad stars a woman donning an outfit from Time and Tru getting ready for a picnic with her family in a park, several kids sporting comfortable clothes from Wonder Nation and a father sporting a shirt and trousers from George spending quality time with his son.
The song playing in the background is the 2015 single “Sugar” by German DJ and record producer Robin Schulz featuring vocals from Canadian singer Francesco Yates, from Schulz’s second studio album of the same name.
Walmart is also launching a new mattress and bedding brand called Allswell and is also in the midst of redesigning its website with a focus on fashion and home goods, which will include merchandise from Hudson’s Bay-owned Lord & Taylor. Some of the retail giant’s apparel banners such as Faded Glory, White Stag and Just My Size will be pulled from stores, but will still be offered online in some instances.
