Tommy Hilfiger has brought the Tommy Jeans team together to rock the all-new Tommy Jeans styles for the new season in one of the ads part of the brand’s Spring 2018 campaign.
The spot, titled “Meet you at the racetrack”, features the Tommy Jeans squad members including models and musicians Pyper America Smith and Gabriel-Kane Day-Lewis, rapper Christian “King” Combs, and models Diana Silvers, Lina Hoss and Sup Park at the Pocono Raceway, also known as the Tricky Triangle, in Pennsylvania, U.S., sporting pieces from the new collection, which celebrates heritage denim and vintage Formula One looks. Contrasting textures and proportions, hardworking fabrics, iconic prints, bold text, stripe motifs, bold new cuts and colors are only some of the key elements of the Spring/Summer 2018 line-up, inspired by Tommy’s love of motor sports.
The song used in the ad is “Running The Show” by Paul Fletcher feat. Patrick Sturrock, Robert Bagshaw, Emily Taylor & Nigel Thompson, from the movie Million Dollar Hip Hop.
Last week, on March 15, Lewis Hamilton was announced the new Global Ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger Menswear. Starting this spring, the British Formula One racing driver and four-time Formula One World Champion will endorse HILFIGER COLLECTION, TOMMY HILFIGER TAILORED and TOMMY HILFIGER Menswear, Underwear and Swimwear. “Like Tommy Hilfiger, I believe in the power of fashion and innovation to celebrate individuality and break conventions.” Hamilton said. According to the fashion brand, his drive is what makes him “the ideal fit” for this role. Tommy Hilfiger re-entered the world of motorsport as the new partner of four-time Formula One World Champions Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport.
