Jaguar UK continues its “Bend the Rules” ad campaign, promoting the new E-Pace, with a new advert, titled “Bad Reception”.
The 30-second spot, created by agency Spark44, features a young woman (played by “Britannia” star Annabel Scholey) being called by her boss immediately after getting into her E-Pace. Judging by the photo appearing when he’s calling (a donkey), he’s not very appreciated by the protagonist, who decides to lose him by faking bad reception. Ending the conversation in no time, she then starts the engine and hits the road. The tagline “Time to bend the rules” flashes across the screen at the end of the advert.
The new Jaguar E-Pace comes in three versions: E-Pace (from £ 28,500.00), which places the emphasis firmly on modern luxury and lets you create a car that’s every bit as individual as you are thanks to the wide range of color choices and premium materials, R-Dynamic (from £ 30,750.00), which features unique front bumpers, a Gloss Black finish for the front grille and a Satin Chrome exterior trim, a sporty interior styling that includes contoured sports seats with larger side bolsters, twin-needle stitching, and contrasting thread colous, and First Edition (From £ 47,800.00), which features exclusive design details including Caldera Red paint and 20″ 6 split-spoke “Style 6014” with Satin Grey Diamond Turned finish alloy wheels, Black Pack and fixed panoramic roof (coming as standard), exclusive Ebony Windsor leather with Flame Red twin-needle contrast stitching, carpet mats and branded metal treadplates.
The Bend the Rules campaign debuted earlier this year, in February, with a series of other hilarious spots directed by “Fleabag” director Harry Bradbeer and starring Annabel Scholey, introduced as the “Mistress of Mischief”, who bends the rules in unexpected ways to get what she wants.
