Nike Football showcases the new limited-edition Mercurial Superfly 360 and Mercurial Vapor 360 shoes in a new commercial featuring a host of football stars.
The ad shows Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr, Lieke Martens, Kylian Mbappe, Marco Asensio, Shanice van de Sanden, Santan Dave & Karamoko Dembele and the new soccer shoes, while in the background the song “100M’s” by rising rapper Dave is playing.
Mercurial Vapor 360, available in total orange/black, features, according to the brand, a “Flyknit construction that wraps the entire foot and a sockliner that interlocks with a new internal structure for maximum response”. Other features include podular plate system with an internal chassis flexes, swoosh design trademark on the toe, and All Conditions Control (ACC) technology, which provides optimal ball control in both wet and dry conditions.
Mercurial Superfly 360 features 1-piece upper with Dynamic Fit Collar wraps under the foot for an adaptive fit, micro-textured Flyknit construction, which provides touch at high speeds, podular plate system with an internal chassis flexes for responsive traction, swoosh design trademark on the toe with a matte finish to help provide traction on the ball, and, just like Mercurial Vapor 360, All Conditions Control (ACC) technology.
Launched with the tagline “Fast by nature” to celebrate Mercurial’s 20th anniversary, these two models of football boots will debut on pitch this weekend and will be available February 14 on Nike’s website.
According to a press release, Cristiano Ronaldo embraced the Mercurial Superfly 360 right away. “My first reaction when I saw the new Mercurial was…the best boots ever! They fit straight away. The material, the design, the new technology, it’s amazing,” he said.
