Hyundai KONA Commercial Song – The SUV for the City

Hyundai KONA Commercial

Hyundai Canada showcases, in its latest ad, the all-new KONA, introduced as “the SUV for the city”.

The spot, set to the rhythms of “TRNDSTTR” song by Black Coast, features a young man driving a Kona through a city and ends with the tagline “That’s the H-Factor.” The automaker states that, with Kona, “driving and parking in the urban jungle doesn’t have to be stressful” and encourages people to enjoy the “agile manoeuvrability of a passenger car and the higher perspective of an SUV”, as this car is “really the best of both worlds”.

The all-new KONA features Hyundai’s signature cascading front grille design, muscular wheel arches and advanced lighting, offers the choice between two powerful and fuel-efficient engines, and comes equipped with All-Wheel Drive, a 8.0″ Head-Up Display that projects important information like speed, navigation commands, and safety warnings into the driver’s line of sight, a 7.0″ or 8.0″ touch-screen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an available wireless charging pad, as well as Hyundai SmartSense, a suite of advanced safety technologies including Autonomous Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, Driver Attention Assist, Blind Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Rear Parking Assist Sensors.

The new KONA was showcased at Montreal International Auto Show, from January 19 to January 28, and at the 2018 Canadian International Auto Show, from February 16 to February 25, and will be showcased in the upcoming months at Salon International de L’Auto de Quebec, taking place from March 6 through March 11, at the Calgary International Auto & Truck Show, taking place from March 14 through March 18, and other auto shows.
