7DAYS continues its “Cool” ad campaign with a new spot, featuring some of the greatest stars of European Basketball, including Juan Carlos Navarro, Vasilis Spanoulis, Nick Calathes and Brad Wanamaker.
The 50-second ad opens with a news presenter showing the trophy these players will be fighting for this season and goes on with the players singing. “Now it’s my turn to talk. The trophy should be this.” – Calathes raps, referring to a 7DAYS Croissant. “I challenge anyone and play you hard for it.” – he adds before Fenerbahce Dogus Instanbul player Brad Wanamaker gets his turn. The latter is confident that nobody else but him is going to win this sweet trophy and that he is the only one who will get to enjoy it. Next, Olympiacos Piraeus Vassilis Spanoulis takes centre stage to perform his part: “I’ll beat you any day and eat the coolest treat. You know that I can play on court or in the street”.
As the spot ends, it turns out a young boy was watching these EuroLeague stars on a tablet, while having a break on the bascketball court, with a 7DAYS croissant in his hand and the ball in the other. “Are you fighting for this?” – the kid asks, showing the croissant and adding that only one can win. Finally, the FC Barcelona Lassa’s Juan Carlos Navarro gets to rap. He is also sure he will be the one winning the trophy and the title of “king of cocoa cream” and, after shooting a basket without looking, he gets to enjoy the sweet treat.
The soundtrack music is the song “Game On: Turkish Airlines EuroLeague 2017-18”, which is available for purchase on Amazon for $1.98.
This campaign marks the collaboration between 7DAYS, which is a premium sponsor of Euroleague Basketball, award-winning agency Vimema and Euroleague Basketball, and the first time an official partner has fully integrated EuroLeague content into a global ad campaign.
