Selena Gomez promotes the high intensity women’s training shoe from Puma Phenom collection in new commercial for the athletic brand.
Soundtracked by the singer’s latest single “Wolves”, feat. Marshmello, the retro-inspired ad stars Selena wearing the Phenom training shoes in multi-tonal black shade in various places (an elevator and a car) in an effort to illustrate the idea that these versatile sneakers are “engineered to slay every step of your day”.
According to the manufacturer, the Phenom women’s training shoes, designed for long distance, feature a lightweight design, high top for increased ankle support, mono mesh collar insert for breathability, signature midfoot strap, the brand’s quick response signature IGNITE foam, outsole zoned with forefront cut-outs for freedom of movement, and herringbone rubber for full ground traction and contact. The Phenom women’s training/running shoes, also available in other two shades, Cameo Brown and Olive Night, are priced at $90 on Puma’s website. They are also selling in retail stores like Finish Line, Lady Foot Locker, Bloomingdale’s, and others.
In a press release, Puma described Selena as “the ultimate multitasker,” mentioning that she “represents women who need to power through their workouts and their days” and that she “acts as the perfect embodiment of this dynamic shoe”.
