Esurance highlights, in a new commercial, that Esurance Roadside Assistance lets you know when help will arrive.
The 40-second spot features a dad trying to have a talk with his preteen son while waiting for Esurance’s towing service to come and tow their car, which is on the side of the road. “Actually this is good because I’ve been meaning to talk to you. Well, you know, you’re getting older might be experiencing some sensations…” – the dad says, making the kid shake his head as if he’s not willing to have that kind of discussion. “Happened to your dad…” – he adds. At this point, the boy shows his father the Esurance app open on his smartphone, saying Esurance is there.
“Can’t wait to be rescued? Esurance Roadside Assistance lets you know when help will arrive.” – the voiceover says at the end of the commercial, adding the company’s tagline, “that’s insurance for the modern world”. At this point the dad is shown again asking his son if he has any questions. “I’m good, I’m good.” – the boy answers, which makes the man say “Awesome!”.
The insurance company specifies that Roadside Assistance is an optional feature for purchase, as well as Pay-as-you-go option, on policies that include comprehensive and collision coverage and that the tracking experience, as seen in the ad, is not available for all service vehicles.
