British global travel company Thomas Cook has launched a brand new advert, promoting its services and inviting people to discover SunWing Family Resorts.
The 60-second spot, titled “Rocking It”, features people in a SunWing family resort looking at someone passing by in front of them, who’s not shown until the end. A woman is seen peering over her sunglasses, a group of three pre-teenage girls looking up to her, a barista giving a two-finger salute, a father and his two sons widening their eyes while blowing inflatable armbands, and a young man on a float in the pool watching mesmerized as this person gets closer to the edge of the pool. It turns out the one walking with confidence through the resort, getting everyone’s attention, was a little girl wearing a green swimsuit and a pink tulle skirt. She dives in the pool, crosses it underwater (because she’s properly equipped) and goes then to her mother, with whom she has special a salute that includes fistbumping.
The advert, soundtracked by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ “I Am The Cool”, ends with the tagline “Don’t just book it, Thomas Cook it”.
SunWing Family Resorts include big family-friendly pools, a kids’ club with mascots Lollo & Bernie, Happy Baby rooms with special amenities, lots of activities and family shows, a spa and free Wi-Fi. With extensive gyms and fitness classes, menus to suit dietary needs, and evening entertainment finishing around 9:30pm, SunWing Family Resorts promise a relaxing family holiday.
