Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation have released the official trailer for the upcoming animated superhero movie “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” expected to hit the cinemas on December 14, 2018.
The 60-second trailer invites viewers to “enter a universe where more than one wears the mask”, and introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales (based on the Marvel Comics character), and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse.
Directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman, the movie stars Shameik Moore in the leading role, Brian Tyree Henry, Mahershala Ali and Liev Schreiber.
The music playing in the trailer, by Vince Staples, was also used for the Black Panther trailers.
