Buttermilk Crispy Tenders are back at McDonald’s and this called for a new ad to spread the news.
The fast-food restaurant chain highlights, in a new spot, that grandmas everywhere are “hyped” about the return of the Buttermilk Crispy Tenders and that, “now that they once more have chicken good enough to pass as their own, they’re excited to have their free time back again”.
The ad features several ladies jumping out of joy and dancing holding buttermilk crispy tenders in their hands, happy that they are back on the menu.
The Buttermilk Crispy Tenders, which became a permanent menu items in September, have been discontinued due to high demand and lack of supply, but a McDonald’s spokesperson announced that this would be a temporary “issue” and that by the end of the this month, December, the “craveable and delicious tenders will be back and available for everyone’s enjoyment”.
The chicken tenders are made, according to the fast-food restaurant chain, with no artificial preservatives, colors or flavors, using 100% white meat chicken. Seasoned, battered and breaded, they are served with a Signature Sauce and six other sauces including honey mustard and creamy ranch.
