Mae Whitman, Christina Hendricks, and Retta star in Good Girls, a new comedy drama series about three tired wives and mothers who take drastic action when their lives become unmanageable.
The upcoming show, created by Jenna Bans (also known for the hit series “Scandal”), follows the three suburban moms, who are also best friends, as they decide to rob the local supermarket, armed with toy guns, in order to get the money they need to solve their problems. When they think their lives fell into place, with everything going the way they wanted, the trouble begins: dangerous men show up at their door, asking them for the money they stole saying it’s their money.
The cast also includes Matthew Lillard, Manny Montana, Reno Wilson, and others.
The trailer, revealing quite a lot of what happens with the courageous trio, is soundtracked by Fergie’s 2016 single “M.I.L.F. $”, from her second studio album, “Double Dutchess”.
Good Girls is scheduled to premiere on Monday, February 26, 2018, at 10/9c on NBC.
