Big Lots invites people, in its Christmas commercial, to dress their home with Big Lots.
The retail company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, that has over 1.400 stores in 48 states, offering a wide variety of merchandise, from packaged food and beverages to furniture, clothing, toys, housewares, and small electronics, reminds us “There is so much to enjoy and share this holiday season” by showing, in the 30-second spot, several families getting ready for Christmas while in the background the song “Joy to the World” by rock band “Three Dog Nights” is heard.
Thus, viewers can see a mother and her young daughter decorating the Christmas tree together, kids handcrafting
decorations, a dog dressed in a Christmas-themed sweater, a man putting a Christmas wreath on his car, another mom-daughter duo singing together while hanging Christmas stockings by the chimney, as well as other families decorating their Christmas tree and home with decorations from Big Lots.
The commercial ends with the voiceover urging you to “Dress your home for the holiday with Big Lots!” and with the tagline “Share the Joy!”.
