Walmart invites you to get together with friends and family and put your own spin on the Thanksgiving meal in a new commercial, aiming to highlight that, at Walmart, you can find “fresh, local and organic ingredients”.
The 30-second spot, titled “Bring Your Flavor”, features a family unpacking their Walmart groceries and cooking the Thanksgiving meal with fresh ingredients, from turkey, to a variety of vegetables, including sweet potatoes, French beans, Brussels sprouts, onion, bacon, and more.
Finally, guests are seen coming with Walmart shopping bags and sitting then at the table and enjoying the delicious meal.
The song playing in the background is the 1964 hit single “My Generation” by English rock band The Who, from their 1965 debut album, “My Generation” (“The Who Sings My Generation” in the US), and in greatly extended form on their 1970 live album, “Live at Leeds”.
Walmart offers a wide range of products for Thanksgiving, including cookbooks, kitchen & dining furniture, tableware, Thanksgiving food, as well as gifts for the Thanksgiving host.
