Game Night (2018 Movie)

Warner Bros. has released the trailer for the upcoming action comedy Game Night, starring Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams.

The two acclaimed actors play Max and Annie, a married couple who, along with other couple friends, find themselves caught in a game arranged by Max’s brother as a murder mystery party where players don’t know what’s real and what’s fake. Over the course of one night, they try to find Max’s brother, who gets kidnapped right in front of them by some thugs, and come to realize that neither this game is not what it seems to be. Directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the film seems to promise, judging by the trailer, lots of twists and turns, and lots of funny scenes. The cast also includes Billy Magnussen, Sharon Horgan, Kylie Bunbury, Lamorne Morris, Jesse Plemons, Danny Huston, Michael C. Hall, and Kyle Chandler.

In one of the scenes revealed in the trailer, Bateman is seen getting shot by his wife, who thinks that the gun she’s holding is fake. “Blood!” – he screams terrified. In her attempt to clean the wound, McAdams’s character gives him a squeaky toy to bite while she’s pouring alcohol on the wound. He is also seen trying to clean a white dog that gets stained with blood from his wound and making it worse.

In another scene, McAdams tells an armed guy threatenung her that she has kids at home. When he answers that he knows she doesn’t have kids making her an indirect compliment, she says thanks. When the criminal get killed by accident, she says first “Yes!” and then “Oh, no, he died!”.

Game Night is set to be released worldwide beginning March 2, 2018.

The song used in the trailer is a remix of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9.
