Volkswagen showcases the new Volkswagen T-Roc in a new ad, highlighting that, thanks to its (optional) 4MOTION Active Control, it’s able to keep up with four-legged friends.
The 30-second spot features a man driving the new compact-class crossover from VW outside a city and finding himself behind a baby mouflon that struts at a low pace. The driver, who activates the 4MOTION Active Control to keep up for a while with the animal, decides then to take a different direction.
The song used in this ad is “Are You Gonna Go My Way” by American rock musician Lenny Kravitz, from his third studio album of the same title, released in 1993.
The new T-Roc, which is Volkswagen’s fourth SUV, is “well suited for the urban world as it is for great adventure”, according to the automaker, and, thanks to the optionally front-wheel or all-wheel drive all-rounder, it “combines the aplomb of an SUV with the agility of a sporty compact model”.
The T-Roc base version features Front Assist Area Monitoring with City Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Monitoring, Automatic Post-Collision Braking System and Lane Keeping System Lane Assist. Air conditioning, the Composition Colour infotainment system, LED tail light cluster, visual underbody guard (black) and LED daytime running lights in the bumper are also part of the base specification.
