Seat UK showcases the new Seat Arona and some of its safety features in a new advert, aiming to point out that “every part of the new SEAT Arona is designed with your safety in mind” to protect you and what matters most, “because fearlessness comes from knowing you can”.
The 25-second spot presents the safety technologies available on this Seat, namely ACC with Front Assist, which instantly reacts in case the car in front of you brakes suddenly and keeps a safe distance so you can stay focused and cruise in complete control, Blind Spot Detection (standard on all XCELLENCE versions), which sends you an alert if any cars are approaching before you change lanes, and Rear Traffic Alert (standard on all XCELLENCE versions), which automatically stops your new SEAT Arona if there’s a vehicle or object behind you.
The advert, soundtracked by the 2017 song “The Chant (Iquo Isang)” by Ibibio Sound Machine, ends with the tagline
“Do Your Thing”.
The Arona trims include Arona SE, described as “The Essential One”, Arona SE Technology, described as “The Connected One”, Arona FR, described as “The Stylish One”, Arona FR Sport, described as “The Sporty One”, Arona XCELLENCE, described as “The Indulgent One”, Arona XCELLENCE Lux, described as “The Luxury One”.
Other safety features that come standard on all Arona versions are the Multi-Collision brake, the Tiredness Recognition system, which monitors your steering movements and advises you to take a rest if it recognizes that you are tired, and the Hill Hold Control system, which stores and records your brake pressure so you can get going on the steepest slopes without the handbrake.
