Samsung has released the official launch film for its new “versatile yet stylish” Gear Sport, urging viewers to “Go beyond fitness” and “lead an active and balanced lifestyle”.
The spot, soundtracked by Jason Derulo’s 2016 single “Kiss the Sky”, from his first greatest hits album, “Platinum Hits”, showcases the smartwatch’s “unique body design”, highlighting that it is 50m water resistant, has built-in GPS, a weight management feature, which tracks your fitness and diet, keeping your calories in balance, monitoring calorie intake, and offering tips and insights for users to stay on the right path, a stand-alone music player, and message notification.
The commercial ends with the Gear Sport in the two colors available: timeless black and striking blue. The look of the Gear Sport can be changed with a range of different straps and watch faces.
Samsung Gear Sport can also be used to make purchases (with just tap on it, thanks to the NFC-based Samsung Pay compatibility) and to open files on a big screen and turn the pages on a presentation document, as it can serve as a controller, as well.
