L.L.Bean promotes its Fall collection in a new commercial, encouraging you to “Be an Outsider”.
“Welcome to the outside. You don’t need a passport to come here or a membership to belong here. Just step outside and you arrived. Because on the inside, we’re all outsiders. And if it’s outside, we’re all in.” – the voiceover says in the 30-second spot, which features various persons of all ages enjoying nature and doing lots of activities outside. Some kids are seen having fun in a parkland, four friends are playing badminton in the backyard on a winter day, a couple is walking their dog on a rocky beach, at sunset, a kid on a boat, in the middle of a lake, at the mountainside, begins howling like a wolf, and three youngsters dive into the lake.
The song playing in the background is “10000 Emerald Pools” by singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and Michigan native Garrett Borns, professionally known as BØRNS, from his debut album, “Dopamine”, released in 2015.
