Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for the upcoming superhero film Justice League, focusing on the heroes.
Directed by Zack Snyder, the fifth installment in the DC Extended Universe is set months after the events of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and follows Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) and Diana Prince / Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) as they assemble a team of metahumans consisting of Barry Allen/The Flash (Ezra Miller), Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Victor Stone/Cyborg (Ray Fisher) to face the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons.
The cast ensemble also includes Ciarán Hinds, Willem Dafoe, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wrights, J.K. Simmons, Amber Heard, and others.
Set to the rhythms of David Bowie’s 1977 single “Heroes, from his twelfth studio album, “Heroes”, the trailer features the superheroes in action, while in the background Wayne’s explanation is heard for assembling the team.
“Divided we are not enough.” – he tells them, adding that “the world needs to remember”.
Justice League is set to be released in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D this fall, on November 17.
