Chicago Med, reviewed as “Television’s best medical drama”, that has captivated countless critics and viewers, returns November 21 with its third season.
The show, from Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wold, explores the day-to-day chaos of the city’s newest state-of-the-art trauma center and the lives of the courageous doctors, nurses and staff who must deal with critical medical cases and challenging ethical dilemmas.
The cast includes Nick Gehlfuss as Dr. Will Halstead, the ER’s supervising attending physician, Torrey DeVitto as Dr. Natalie Manning, an emergency pediatrics resident who forms a budding romance with Halstead, Colin Donnell as Dr. Connor Rhodes, a heart surgeon, Norma Kuhling as Dr. Ava Bekker, a new, highly competitive cardiothoracic doctor, Oliver Platt as Dr. Daniel Charles, a psychiatrist who recovers from a shot, Rachel DiPillo as Dr. Sarah Reese, Brian Te as Dr. Ethan Choi, a former Navy flight surgeon, S. Epatha Merkerson as Sharon Goodwin, the head of Chicago Med, and others.
The promo, soundtracked by Kesha’s 2017 single “Praying”, from her third studio album, “Rainbow”, reveals that the fate of one of theiw own hangs in the balance on the season 3 premiere. Chicago Med will air on Tuesday nights on NBC.
