Burberry Advert Song: Trench Coats and Scarves

Burberry showcases its trench coats and scarves from the 2017 Fall collection in a new advert.

The spot, filmed on location in Yorkshire, England, by Alasdair McLellan, features models, actors and musicians including Blondey McCoy, Glenda Jackson and Loyle Carner sporting some of the trench coats included in the brand’s latest collection, as well as scarves and other accessories. Among the showcased products there are the Vintage Check Soft-touch Plastic Single-breasted Coat ($2,695), the Sketch Print Tropical Gabardine Trench Coat ($2,395), The Camden Long Car Coat ($1,695), which is available in seven colours, the Tropical Gabardine Trench Coat ($2,395), available in two colours, and others.

The scarves are in wool and silk blends, including long reversible designs in Vintage check cashmere, and have
prices ranging from $175 to $1,495. The collection also includes Graphic Print Motif Cashmere Wraps ($1,495), available in various colours, Wool Cashmere Blend Hooded Ponchos ($1,595), Reversible Tartan Oversized Poncho ($1,995), and a Cashmere Wool Blend Patchwork Poncho ($5,750).

The song used in this advert is the 1985 hit single “Life in a Northern Town” by English group the Dream Academy, from their self-titled debut studio album, released in 1985.
