Shameless Season 8 (Showtime Series) – Trailer Song

Shameless returns with its eights season this fall, on Sunday, November 5, at 9pm, on Showtime.

The acclaimed comedy-drama TV series, created by Paul Abbott, revolves around the Gallaghers, a working-class family in Chicago consisting of an alcoholic father and his six children as they’re trying to cope as best as they can.

The trailer for the upcoming 12-episode season focuses on the Gallaghers looking for the meth. While Frank (William H. Macy) comes out of a drug-induced haze and introduces himself as Saint Francis, Fiona (Emmy Rossum) works as a landlord and faces difficult situations, that make her realize her success as a landlord may mean someone else’s misfortune. Ian (Cameron Monaghan) takes up a cause in hopes of getting back with Trevor, Lip (Jeremy Allen White) struggles with unexpected sacrifices he must make to stay sober, Debbie (Emma Kenney) builds her future at welding school while juggling life as a single working mom, and Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) gets creative finding tuition money after he loses his scholarship.

Season eight features new recurring guest stars Jessica Szhor as Fiona’s tenant, Nessa, and Sarah Tahir as Frank’ s new boss, Addeb. Guest stars Elliot Fletcher (Trevor), Ruby Modine (Sierra), and Scott Michael Campbell (Brad) will reprise their roles as Trevor, Sierra and Brad, respectively.

The song used in the trailer is the 2017 single “Middle Fingers” by Austin, Texas, electro rock duo MISSIO, from their debut album, “Loner”, released earlier this year, on May 19.
