River Island has released a new advert, showcasing the “Wardrobe Essentials Every Girl Needs This Season”.
“Need another hero? Style that works as hard as you do.” – is the message conveyed in the 50-second spot, titled “Everyday Heroes”, which features “the effortless knit”, the “IT coat”, a black check coat (£80) with notch lapels, front slip pockets, concealed single magdot fastening, cross body bags (with prices starting from £24), the “forever biker”, a pink faux suede biker jacket (£60), the “must have mini”, a suit consisting of a red tie cuff blazer (£60) and trouser (£38), the “trophy blouse” (£30), a red frill long sleeve blouse described as having “work to week-end creadentials”, the black tapered smart trousers (£30), the “dress to impress” (£50), a navy stripe high neck waisted midi dress, the black stripe print wide leg trousers (£42), the black frill shoulder bralet (£26), and others.
The song used in the ad is the 2017 track “Lovers” by UK based multi-instrumentalist Matt Harris, professionally known as Alumo.
