Apple invites you to go on a star-studded, song-filled car ride in the Apple Music original Carpool Karaoke, returning with new episodes this month.
Based on the segment that became a viral sensation on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Carpool Karaoke features, in each episode, a celebrity pairing sharing a car, singing along to their personal playlists, and embarking on adventures.
The 60-second promo released by Apple reveals that, among the celebrities getting in the car, there will be Alicia Keys and John Legend, Billy Eichner and Metallica, Jessica Alba and Gwineth Paltrow, Jeff Gordon and Michael Strahan, John Cena and Shaquille O’Neal, Shakira and The Daily Show host Trevor Noah, and others, such as Ariana Grande, Will.i.am, and LeBron James. Game of Thrones stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams are shown tandem-riding a mechanical bull and Will Smith crashing a wedding.
The song used in the trailer is “On the Road Again”, written and made famous by country music singer Willie Nelson, that was featured on the 1980 film Honeysuckle Rose.
