Volkswagen Canada is introducing the All-New Tiguan in a hilarious new commercial, highlighting that it’s impossible not to fall in love with this SUV.
The 60-second spot features an SUV owner who keeps seeing a red 2018 Tiguan everywhere he drives. His car, though, seems to be coming to life and do everything it can to get in way of the man falling in love with the all-new Tiguan: the trunk hits him on the head, the windshield washer nozzles spray water right in his face, the hood suddenly opens up so that he couldn’t stare at the beautiful Tiguan, the seat belt latches him tighter, and, eventually, the security system blocks the doors on a rainy night, when he gets off to take a glimpse of the elegantly refined Volkswagen Tiguan, that he sees parked in front of a house.
The song playing in the ad is the 1965 single “Aline” by French singer Cristophe, from his album “Aline”, released in 1965.
The 2018 Tiguan, described as “rugged, bolder and bigger than its predecessors”, boasts an entirely new design and features like powerful 2.0 TSI engine that delivers 184 HP and 221 lb-ft of torque, All-Wheel Drive, optional 3rd row seating, Advanced Driver Assist, two great trim levels to choose from, and more.
