Volkswagen introduces the 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan as “the New King of the Concrete Jungle” in a new commercial.
The 60-second spot features a young blonde woman at the steering wheel of a red 2018 VW Tiguan passing by a car dealer above which a giant advertising balloon in the shape of King-Kong was placed. Seeing the stylish SUV, the balloon “escapes” from the roof and follows the woman through the city, floating above buildings and roads, until she stops the car.
The song playing in the background is “Livin’ Thing” performed by Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), which appears on ELO’s 1976 album, “A New World Record”.
Equipped with a 2.0L TSI engine and featuring a completely redesigned exterior, being longer, wider and more dynamic from top to bottom, and a completely redesigned interior, the 2018 V Tiguan boasts many different features, including adaptive front-lighting, panoramic sunroof with ambient lighting, hands free liftgate, driver profile selection, Fender Premium Audio System, 8″ touchscreen navigation system, and many more.
