Chanel continues its ad campaign promoting the Gabrielle handbag with a new film, starring Willow Smith.
Set in Tokyo, the clip features Will Smith’s 16-year-old daughter, who’s singer, actress and dancer, sporting the
Gabrielle handbag in a slew of different colors (quilted suede, in black, ecru or grey tweed, and metallic gold leather), while walking through the city streets. Jinbōchō, Yūrakuchō and Shinjuku are some of the neighborhoods she’s strolling through. Dressed in various remarkable outfits, she can also be seen shopping at a bookstore, taking a ride on the train, taking a cab, eating sushi, and receiving an unexpected small gift from a little local girl.
The song playing in the ad is “Kecupat aneh” by Japanese group OOIOO, founded by Boredoms drummer Yoshimi P-We, from their 2013 album “Gamel”.
Willow Smith, who starred in the brand’s AW16 eyewear campaign, is a Chanel ambassador alongside Cara Delevingne, Pharell, Kristen Stewart, and more.
