Blue Moon Brewing Company promotes its Blue Moon Belgian White, the brand’s first year-round release back in 1995, in a new commercial.
“Blue Moon is a well-crafted Belgian style wheat beer brewed with Valencia orange peel for a refreshing taste that shines brighter.” – says the voiceover in the 30-second spot, entitled “Time to Shine” and featuring a glass full of Blue Moon on a table at a rooftop party at night, which “shines like a star”, garnished with an orange slice, alongside orange slices – Valencia orange peel being one of the ingredients to give the beer a subtle sweetness. As the spot comes to an end, a 6-pack of Blue Moon is placed on the table.
The song playing in the background is “Wish I Knew You” by American rock band The Revivalists, off their 2015 album, “Men Amongst Mountains”. Written by the band and produced by Ben Ellman, the track peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Adult Alternative Songs chart.
