State Farm has released a new ad that tugs at the viewers’ heartstrings. The 60-second spot, aiming to highlight that State Farm realizes how hard you’ve worked for your truck, features a young man taking the bus day after day, from spring to winter, to get to his two jobs. Early in the morning, after his night shifts, and late in the evening, he takes the bus and endures all kind of difficult conditions, in his attempt to save money and get the truck he wants.
“While other insurance companies just see a truck, we see something you’ve worked really hard for, so why not give it the protection it deserves?” – asks the voiceover at the end of the commercial, which features the company’s tagline, “Here to help life go right”.
The song playing in the background is “Break My Bones” by British jazz pianist John Taylor, from his 2011 album
“Sorrow And Sunshine”.
State Farm highlights that, whether you use your own car or a fleet of pickups, box trucks and even trailers to get the job done, it offers the protection – liability, personal injury/medical, comprehensive, and collision coverage and more – to keep your business moving forward.
State Farm’s lead agency is DDB Chicago, that helped the insurance company to refresh its marketing image and to
urge its customers and potential customers to volunteer in their communities through its Neighborhood of Good platform.
