The leading browser game platform GTarcade, the developer behind “League of Angels”, has released a new commercial for League of Angels – Paradise Land, the latest fantasy turn-based RPG on iOS and Android, launched on May 25.
The 30-second spot features Hollywood actress Gal Gadot, known for her role as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the upcoming Wonder Woman film, at the makeup, before shooting a scene for a movie. When a monster shows up spitting fire in the warehouse she’s in, she takes out her phone and chooses an angel from her LoA collection to fight against it. The thrilling scene ends abruptly following the director’s intervention, who lets Gal know that she’s awaited on the set.
League of Angels, released in 2013 (with League of Angels II released in 2016), is a turn-based combat MMORPG where players take on the role of heroes as they fight monsters, save beleaguered angels, collect gold and diamonds (the in-game currency), complete quests, and battle against the forces of evil.
Gal Gadot was announced as the spokesperson for LoA on May 25, after GTarcade released a cinematic trailer teasing her identity and inviting the community to try and guess. Liu Wanqin, head of GTarcade and Vice President at Youzu Interactive, said of Gadot that “She personifies beauty, strength, power, and grace” and that this is the reason why she is “the perfect fit for the League of Angels universe”.
