Blue Moon Brewing Company has released a new commercial, celebrating the Blue Moon Belgian White, the brand’s first year-round release back in 1995.
The 15-second spot, featuring a waitress that delivers the Belgian-style wheat ale in a signature Blue Moon glass, capped with a creamy, white head and garnished with an orange slice, highlights that “Blue Moon is brewed with Valencia orange peel for a taste that shines brighter”. Besides the orange peel, which gives a subtle sweetness to the beer, there is another twist: a touch of coriander, which provides balance, according to the brand.
The song playing in the background is “The Walk” by Grammy-nominated LA-based singer, songwriter, producer, arranger, DJ, audio engineer, and multi-instrumentalist Mayer Hawthorne (Andrew Mayer Cohen by his real name), the first single from his second studio album, “How Do You Do”, released in 2011.
Blue Moon, available in 12-oz. bottles, 6-pack, 12-pack, 12-oz. can, 16-oz. can, and draft, pairs well with seafood, such as grilled shrimp, Asian dishes like pad thai, and marinated chicken dishes.
