Yves Saint Laurent has released a new commercial, promoting the new Paris-inspired line called Mon Paris and urging you to “lose your sense of gravity”, just like the protagonists.
The 50-second spot features two lovers in Paris, near the Eiffel Tower, playing a cat-and-mouse game until the attraction between them gives way to an embrace and a passionate kiss.
Described as “luminous, intoxicating, and carnal in its olfactory expression”, Mon Paris Eau de Parfum, created by Olivier Cresp, Harry Fremont and Dora Baghriche, features notes of red berries and pear, that exude sensuality and femininity, Datura flower, which embodies desire and seduces the senses, creamy white musk and patchouli.
The song playing in the ad is “Love Is Blindness” by Lee-la Baum, the same song used in the ad launched in June 2016, starring Canadian model Crista Cober and French actor Jérémie Laheurte.
