XFINITY promotes XFINITY Home, a total home security solution providing users with 24/7 professional monitoring and advanced technology, in a hilarious new ad, titled “Chores”.
The 30-second spot features a couple in their kitchen, at night, with the man getting ready to take out the trash.
Suddenly, they hear a strange noise from outside the house, so they take a look at the live images captured via XFINITY Home, available on his smartphone thanks to the dedicated mobile app. Seeing a bear and her teddy bear on their driveway, searching for food in the trash cans, the woman says “I don’t do this” and leaves. Her husband, still watching the mama bear, tries to make her go away by turning the lights on and off and, and, after arming the system remotely, with just a few taps in the XFINITY Home mobile app, says “I don’t do bears either” and drops the trash bag on the floor.
“Feeling safer inside starts with knowing what’s outside” – says the voiceover in the spot, adding that this is the reason why “XFINITY Home connects you to live video and more from anywhere and protects you with 24/7 professional monitoring with fast response time”.
The XFINITY Home system includes, besides 24/7 professional monitoring with fast response time, battery and cellular back-up, smart home control through the XFINITY Home app, which enables users to control and manage their system from anywhere and some key pieces of security equipment.
