The insurance agency The General, which offers auto insurance for drivers that have less than perfect credit or driving history, has released two new 30-second spots to promote its services.
One of them features a young woman seemingly working in a body shop talking about her experience and her thoughts about those with no insurance who take their car to be repaired and realize that it should have been more convenient to have an insurance. “I see it all the time. A person with no insurance brings in their car to be repaired after they get into an accident. When they find out how much it’s going to cost, they get this look on their face. And I can’t help but think If only they were insured by The General.” – says the woman.
At this point, the voiceover informs that, “At The General, you can get insured with low payments, even if you have an accident or tickets on your driving record.” and The General shows up from below a car and urges you to “get an anonymous online quote and ride with The General”.
The General, shown driving a red convertible, sings the company’s tagline, “For a great low rate you can get online, go to The General and save some time!”.
